' Axone ' Movie Review

Image
Movie Name : Axone Genre :  Comedy, Drama  Director : Nicholas Kharkongor Cast : Sayani Gupta, Lin Laishram, Jimpa Bhutia  IMDb : 7.1/10 Find @ Netflix  Review : The film focuses on a group of friends who are trying to cook Axone (a fermented soyabean dish) in the apartment for their friend's wedding, the premise of this heartfelt film directed by Nicholas Kharkongor. What might seem like a unique concept is simply the truth of a few sections of society living away from their homes. This movie sheds light on the casual racism and the daily struggle of Indians. Indians wanting to feel belonged in their own country. The problems with the landlords constantly being judging them for their carefree attitude and extremely confident sense of style and passion, it takes place on a daily basis. There is a sense of ignorance from a majority of India to the customs and traditions sensibilities that come from the beautiful seven sisters and to make a mark for them in any metropolitan

"Cursed" Review

Image
Source : IMDb  Web Series Name : Cursed Genre :  Adventure, Drama, Fantasy  Creators  : Frank Miller, Tom Wheeler Cast : Katherine Langford, Devon Terrell, Gustaf SkarsgÃ¥rd IMDb : 5.6/10 Find @ Netflix Review : A teenage sorceress called Nimue meets young Arthur in his quest to find a powerful and ancient sword created by Frank Miller & Tom Wheeler based on a graphic novel. It has very much a graphic novel style to it when we are talking about the interesting and somewhat fun transitions from scene to scene. The introduction was cool, the music was good, and the over-the-top blood splatter that you see even hit the screen when they are in the middle of the battle. I found all those elements to be cool, even though I haven’t read the graphic novel. The performances by the characters were solid as a whole in this show. I felt some of the characters in this series were over the top sometimes focusing more on the villainous names. I thought Gustaf SkarsgÃ¥rd was really good in this

Image
Source : IMDb Movie Name : Chaman Bahaar Genre : Drama Director : Apurva Dhar Badgaiyann Writer : Apurva Dhar Badgaiyann Cast : Jitendra Kumar, Ritika Badiani, Bhuvan Arora IMDb : 7.1/10 Find @ Netflix Review : The film that directly released on NETFLIX was Apurva Dhar directed CHAMAN BAHAR starring Jitendra Kumar in lead role. Jitendra Kumar has honestly created a space for himself as an actor that can convincingly tell stories from the heartland with ease. Chaman Bahar is that kind of films that despite its slow paced will make you the part of the environment of the eccentric village folk and their aggressive takes but in their minds totally logical decisions. It is extremely difficult to represent a love story without having any interaction of the principle characters in any way; CHAMAN BAHAAR stands out as a unique love story due to that very creative decision. The varied range of characters that pine and stalk is just a noise in the background. The real story is how people

The Irishman Movie Review

Image
Movie Name : The Irishman  Genre : Biography , Crime , Drama Director : Martin Scorsese Writer : Steven Zaililan , Charles Brandt Cast : Robert DeNiro , Joe Pesci and Al Pacino IMDb : 7.9/10 Find @ Netflix Review : Martin Scorsese hasn't made a gangster film properly since his only best picture winner The Departed in 2006 and his career has been wonderfully experimental and introspective as The Irishman has settles into its first act after few flunky opening scenes, you can feel the director employing the old good fellas and casino tropes all over again but with a good deal of thoughts and perspectives and hence it's a incredibly thoughtful gangster movie. The Irishman is a gangster flick wary of its own identity transforming the violence of classic Scorsese movie into a sad ,tragic retrospective on human morality. The Irishman script from the legendary Steven Zaillian spans decades. We follow the real life mob hitman Frank the Irishman Sheeran from 1950s to 2000 depictin
